Katie Zulanas

Founder

Katie has been a web developer for the past ten years. Originally from Connecticut, Katie graduated from Fairfield University with a Liberal Arts degree, from UCONN with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Software Design, and from Rensselaer with a Masters in Operations Management. After 5 years in Chicago with her husband, their family moved to Denver in 1998. Katie has worked for several large corporations and with small businesses for the past five years. She is a Adobe Business Catalyst Developer and a Paypal Certified Developer. Katie and her husband, Tom, have two boys who keep them busy with all the great Colorado outdoor activities.






 

Tom Zulanas

Co-Founder

Tom most enjoys meeting with small business groups and networking. It is not surprising that Tom now works with building those connections through our Social Networking Services. Tom has worked in the fields of insurance, finance, and management since 1984. Tom was born and raised in Chicago and has his B.S. degree from DePauw University. He was a managing partner in his family's Miller Beer Distributorship in both Illinois and Colorado until its sale in 2000. Having grown up in a small business, Tom loves being able to coach his clients to greater success using technology. When he is not working with clients, Tom is busy referreeing basketball and skiing with his two sons.






 

Leo DeGreef

COO

A certified webmaster for over 15 years, Leo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the MediaTrik team. After graduating from the Air Force Academy with a degree in physics and flying KC-135 refuelers as an aircraft commander, Leo was a NASA Mission Manager and Test Director at Ames Research Center. Leo then joined US West/Qwest as a release manager and has worked for large programs as a Northrop Grumman Systems Engineer and most recently spent a number of years on the Orion spacecraft program in Test and Verification. Dedicated to exceeding the client’s expectations, Leo brings his military background to bear on all MediaTrik challenges to assure we never forget who we are working for.






 

Katherine Kersey

Web Design

Katherine has lived in Colorado for 18 years. She graduated with her Associates of Computer Information Systems with Web Development emphasis in May 2012. She loves web development and programming and plans to continue her schooling to get a bachelor's degree later this year. Katherine enjoys being creative and coming up with new designs. She enjoys going to the mountains and hiking whenever she can.






 

Jim Stump

Programmer

Jim hails from the great state of Washington, and programming has been his interest since high school. Jim is currently working toward his B.S. in CIS. Jim has enjoyed the challenges he has worked on with MediaTrik and says "the harder the better!" You gotta love that sentiment!






 

Christine Kanouff

Marketing Lead

With 20 years of marketing experience, Christine, is the perfect "assist" to our clients in evaluating and developing their marketing plan. During the past eight years, Christine has provided consulting services on a variety of projects including development and implementation of company and product launch strategies, corporate communication documents and marketing collateral. She has worked closely with sales teams and marketing departments to build strategies, hire staff and implement tactics that increase sales. Christine's previous positions include Vice President Sales and Marketing at VisionTEK, Director of Marketing for DoubleClick and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Language Management International.






 

Kristine Schlager

Technical Writer / Editor

Kristine keeps MediaTrik on track with her organizational skills. Kristine’s skills make her a natural leader of our Social Network Team and our QA and Process Review Team. Originally from Chicago, Kristine graduated from Lawrence University with a BA, and then entered Medical School at Northwestern University. Despite being honored as a top student, she found that her true love was teaching and writing. This inspired Kristine’s move to Colorado where she received her MA Ed from University of Colorado. Kristine has held research and teaching positions as well as working as a consultant for the Colorado Department of Education. All these skills come into play as Kristine and her husband raise their two boys in Boulder, Colorado.






 

Jon Zulanas

Designer , Level 1

Jon keeps us up with the youngest (and "most mobile") generation's perspective.    He is studying video production and is our resident OS and cell phone specialist.
