Katie Zulanas, CTO, has been involved with web site design for the past ten years. Katie is delighted to be an Adobe Business Catalyst Provider! As businesses grow they need more services (i.e. CRM, Email marketing, etc.)  In the past, this meant “adding on” each of the modules.  That got to be expensive and very inefficient because none of the systems talked to each other! 

With Business Catalyst, we can provide an integrated solution--making it possible for our clients to develop relationships with their clients! Of course, this allows them to grow their business online.

Originally from Connecticut, Katie graduated from Fairfield University with a Liberal Arts degree, from UCONN with a degree in Software and Electrical Engineering, and from Rensselaer with a Masters in Engineering Operations. After 5 years in Chicago with her husband, their family moved to Denver in 1998. Katie has worked for several large corporations and with small businesses for the past five years.  She is a Certified Developer of Adobe Business Catalyst systems and a Paypal Certified Developer.  Katie and her husband, Tom, have two boys who keep them busy with all the great Colorado outdoor activities.


Tom Zulanas, VP, most enjoys meeting with small business groups and networking. It is not surprising that Tom now works with building those connections through his Social Networking Services at http://www.DenverMetroMarketing.com. 

Tom has worked in the fields of insurance, finance, and management since 1984. Tom was born and raised in Chicago and has his B.S. degree from DePauw University. He was a managing partner in his family's Miller Beer Distributorship in both Illinois and Colorado until its sale in 2000. Having grown up in a small business, Tom loves being able to coach his clients to greater success using technology. When he is not working with clients, Tom is busy coaching basketball and skiing with his two sons.


Gerry King is our Connecticut coaching coordinator. Gerry knows about small business challenges--having worked in a startup company most recently. Gerry is our most educated expert in technology--he has his PhD in Electrical Engineering! He is also an assistant fencing coach at Brown Univerity. It is easy to extend that coaching experience to TeachMeWebDesign.com clients. "My clients appreciate the way we break each class into small steps and then help everyone to work on their website one section at a time. They finish the class self-assured--knowing that they possess the skills necessary to manage their website," comments Gerry. "Our booster classes and online user groups allow us to continue coaching. That commitment makes all the difference!"

Brad Crummy currently studying website design at Colorado State University. Brad is keeping us up to date with the latest in web development techniques.
Margaret Watkins is our newest graphic design intern.  Margaret is studying graphic design in Connecticut and is turning her skills to our clients' websites.
