Interactive marketing is based around the concept of two way communication between you and your customers. Customers provide feedback during the relationship process, which can be acted on by you, the business owner.
So, that makes sense in a traditional store, right?
Imagine I am selling gorgeous shoes. I can interact with my customer: "What size can I get for you today?" "Do you like how that fits?"

With the advent of social media, my customer is likely to "pin" a picture of shoes -- hopefully saying something like "Cutest shoes ever!"
But what if they say "Ugliest shoes ever!"?
